Fuel Supply Agreement: The customer executes a long-term fuel supply contract with Zilkha Biomass Energy. Under this agreement, the customer sells wood fuel derived as a byproduct from its core business to Zilkha Biomass Energy. Zilkha Biomass Energy burns this fuel in the Zilkha Biomass Unit to generate electricity. Alternatively, Zilkha Biomass Energy will source wood fuel from third parties for transport to your site. The Zilkha Biomass Unit consumes approximately 2 trailer loads of wood per day.

Heat and Electricity Purchase Agreement: The customer executes a heat and electricity purchase contract with Zilkha Biomass Energy. Under this agreement the customer buys electricity and industrial heat from Zilkha Biomass Energy at significant discounts to the customer’s current retail electricity prices.

Ground Lease: The customer executes a long-term ground lease with Zilkha Biomass Energy. Under this agreement the customer leases to Zilkha Biomass Energy a small (approximately 60’ x 60’) out-of-the-way portion of its property, upon which Zilkha Biomass Energy builds and operates its Zilkha Biomass Unit.

Operating and Maintenance Agreement: The customer executes an operations and maintenance agreement with Zilkha Biomass Energy. Under this agreement the customer provides certain incidental light maintenance on the Zilkha Biomass Unit under a time and materials reimbursement arrangement.
